Rest / Sleep

The children are made to rest in their respective mats. Calm, Serene, a lullaby is sent.

Older children after few minutes rest would do handwork like rolling finger knitting [1,2, 3 & 4 fingers]. They take the finished projects at the end of every term.

After they have finished handwork and sleep. They join for the indoor play. The variation here is that children fascinate to drape themselves and hide in the corner. They play with all innovations and bringing an image of what they observe.

Singing and circle games

Rhymes, action songs and circle songs are given to breathe out. They enjoy to the maximum.

Recess :

Evening Snack, After a delicious relinquishment, are into the story time.

Drawing

Instruction less drawing, in free space through imitation. Drawing becomes a magnificent model for innovation and intelligence.

Modeling

Children along with adults create with clay [Flour/beeswax in kindergarten and mud / black soil for Grades]. It works subtly on the physical, emotional and mental development.

Nature Observation

Children are being taken around nature to explore the beauty and wisdom of creation. Bring in thoughts, feelings and also objects from nature which at the right time would be taught and evolve or explore as concepts and facts.

Clay and  Cleaning

Children make models out of beeswax or atta flour. The children bring in different shapes and images, which is kept for a week in display and molded back again.

Various cleaning activities are planned and given on a weekly and monthly basis like cleaning vessels, lamps, brass, .Dusting, sweeping, mopping, brushing, toes cleaning, face washing, etc..

Outcomes  of clay

The children are given paints made out of the natural source and are made to paint with a brush with thick bristles on a very big wet paper [especially a  cartridge paper].

Interaction Session

           Children are given various opportunities in the class environment to interact with the peers and adults. Programmes happen organically – competition less, price less, gift less. These adhere to their unique talent and balance them holistically to grow as free, skilful individuals.

Cuckoo Rhythm

Children sing a song, poem or recitation practised by the parents. Film songs prohibited. Parents are invited for the same.

Parents are requested to practice a dance for the child. Electronic audio modes are prohibited. The

Role Play 

Parents are requested to practice at least for a month and make the child do some role play (Solo, Dual, or Treble).

Very simple comfortable costumes are recommended. Role models in and around the children’s environment would be encouraged. Parents are invited to view the events.

  • We teach don’t watch serials and TV.
  • Vedavyas students never allow their parents to watch tv when they inside
  • Parents started to fear for wasting their time on tv to relax
