The famous Mariamman temple is located at the heart of the Pollachi town.
The temple is 300 years old.
Usually the temple is open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Puja are offered every day of the week.
The Main function celebrated in the temple is Masi car festival. which is to be conducted once
a year between February and March.
Fire pot (poovodu) taking function is done by the devotees to get the grace of God Mariamman.
Theppath Thiruvizha is also held during the time of Masi car festival.
