The paste is made from raw rice taking the dough and mixing it with jaggery. Then it is molded
as a Vilakku shape. Devotees pour the ghee and light the cotton Panju Thiri. This is known as Maavilakku
The other prayer is to keep mavilaku which is for the goddess who ignite the dhiya in our life’s. This mavilku will be taken conservatively.
